Which PHP thin chat client should I use?  Looking at others, but these have a nice price point (free) and a very small footprint:

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Pretty nifty… you can put character and guild information automagically into the sidebars (via widget) or right into a post!

For an example (Nett, Argent Exodus), see after the break!

Here’s a nifty color namer that will not only let you pick a color and find the appropriate name, but will name the color you select (approximation):

Ok what the heck is a Paternoster
According to Wikipedia:

A paternoster or paternoster lift is a passenger elevator which consists of a chain of open compartments (each usually designed for two persons) that move slowly in a loop up and down inside a building without stopping. Passengers can step on or off at any floor they like.

I’ve never heard of one or seen one. They look terribly dangerous but kind of fun at the same time.

Here’s one in action:

ARGH!

ARGH!

After installing a few sundry PHP applications and databases, I found that I was regularly (and easily) producing 500 errors.

Support can be very frustrating… Resolution after the break…

I think I’ll be installing a chat area and BlackNova shortly (as BlackNova is a very addicting but fun multiplayer space trading simulator).

Links will be here for BlackNova and here for the chat.

How To Use This Thing

How To Use This Thing

Ok starting over with a NEW domain and a new blog.

The name of this blog and by-line are an homage to someone very dear to me.   When they were proffered a unique musical instrument that was new and foreign to them, they were at a complete loss on how to operate it.   What most of us take for granted, was a new and humbling experience for them and became somewhat of a philosophy.

It’s also frequently barked out when something should be painfully obvious and I take a less direct route.

More to come later.
